Reconciliation of Bank Accounts

Reconciliation is the process of making sure that two sets of records balance.  Think of it as balancing a checkbook.

Record and Categorize Transactions

We record all business transactions and categorize them into the proper accounts.  This allows us to prepare accurate financial statements, both monthly and year-end.  It also allows you to see and track the business's spending habits.

Xero Subscription

Xero is the online cloud-based accounting software that I prefer.  You will have access to Xero 24/7, so up to date financial documents are always at your fingertips!  I will also help to get you acquainted with the software, if necessary.  Services include a monthly subscription to Xero, as well as converting your books to the software, if need be.

HubDoc Subscription

HubDoc is a wonderful tool that makes uploading receipts, bills and invoices simple!  HubDoc works seamelessly with Xero, and will automatically sync as new items are uploaded.  No more scanning, and no more lost bills, statements or receipts!

Preparation of Financial Statements

Finding Balance will prepare financial statements for you on a monthly basis.  These statements include the Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flows.  These give you an overview of where your business stands financially.

 

Conference Time

I set aside time each month to go over your financial documents and carefully explain what they mean.  Our services include one hour of discussion time per month!

Communication with your CPA

We will send your records to your CPA so they can process your tax returns.

No Contract

If you find that Finding Balance is not for you, you may cancel our services.  We do request that you give us 30 days notice when cancelling so that we can properly close your accounts and end your monthly subscriptions.

Historical Cleanup

Have you fallen behind on maintaining your books?  At Finding Balance, we offer backup work to get your business's books current and accurate.  (Pricing for back work varies based on complexity and time frame that needs to be included.  It is handled on a case-by-case basis.)

Base Package includes:​​

$325/month

  • Reconciliation of up to two bank accounts

  • Record and categorize up to 75 transactions per month

  • Monthly financial documents

  • Subscription to Xero

  • Subscription to HubDoc

  • 1 hour of discussion time per month

  • Year-end documents, sent directly to your CPA

Additional Services:

  • Historical Cleanup - price varies depending on the complexity of the back work and how much time we are going back.

  • Additional bank accounts - $25 per month per extra account

  • Additional transactions, in increments of 75 - $50 per month
